Montreal Northerly (French: Montréal-Nord) is a previous city on the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It was amalgamated into a City of Montreal in 2002. These are in the borough of Montreal North.

Geography

A borough is an oblong placed along a Rivière des Prairies, in the northeastern part of the island.

These are bordered to the west by Ahuntsic-Cartierville, to the southwest by Villeray—Saint-Michel—Parc-Extension, to the south by Saint Leonard, at the south-east corner by Anjou, and to the east by Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles—Montréal-Est.

Major thoroughfares around Montreal Northward include Saint Michel Blvd., Pie IX Blvd. (Quebec Autoroute 25), Lacordaire Blvd., Langelier Blvd., Léger Blvd., and Henri Bourassa Blvd. A Pie IX Bridge connects Montreal North to the Laval district of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul.
